Investors

Coulda. Woulda. Shouda.

Having a crystal ball to predict the collapse of the housing and financial markets in recent years would have been nice, but alas, few, if any, existed! A long view of real estate shows that this segment of our economy is just as prone to the cyclical nature of expansion and contraction as most other segments. Rather than regret the past or worry about the future, we believe there are opportunities in our current market that can be taken advantage of. Are we bumping along the bottom of the price declines? No one can know for sure, but there are several promising indicators that may mark this current market as an excellent entry point for investors. Prices seem to have stabilized and interest rates are hovering at all-time lows. Picking up a rental may be a prudent addition to a portfolio at this juncture.

Every investor, of course, has a unique situation and needs, and Laura prides herself in adapting a strategy best suited to the individual client.

Laura doesn’t just talk the talk. She is an active investor herself, and personally owns and manages with her husband several investment properties in multiple geographic markets and across multiple product classes under Redpoint Properties, Inc. Whether buying distressed,REO, and/or foreclosed properties, remodeling, flipping, or holding for the long term, you name it, they’ve probably done it! The duo also have extensive knowledge of new construction and the design/homebuilding process, from raw land to turn key, augmented by Laura’s Masters Degree in interior design from Colorado State Univerity.

Other realms within the real estate industry that Laura and Eric are adept in include real estate market analysis,  income/expense analysis, section 1031 tax exchanges, land sales and development, option negotiation, re-hab analysis and project management/ consultation for single family and multi-family rehab projects, and property management of single family and multi-family investments.
