We are now the proud owners of Casa Grande, a 35 unit apartment building in downtown Mount Vernon, built in 1930. It’s located in a fantastic part of the downtown core with a walk score of 95 out of 100, close to an amazing Food Co-op, cozy coffee shops and cafes, antique stores, and even a quaint 1929 theater .
We are in the process of painting and refinishing the common areas, as well as refinishing the hardwood floors in some of the units to bring back the building’s former charm of the 1930’s. The units range in size from studios starting at $575 per month up to our largest 1 bedroom plus den at $750 per month.
We are excited about the timing of this investment; the new revitalization to the downtown waterfront starts in early 2013.
